Nokia X6

Nokia has launched the X6 phone. The Nokia X6 has a 3.2-inch touchscreen and 32GB of storage, the iPhone’s new competitor? It is slim(only 14mm thin) and features include a 5-megapixel camera, dual LED flash, TV-out, video editing, A-GPS with Ovi Maps, online sharing, Nokia Music store, full web browser, Flash Lite support and 16 days standby time, 35 hours of music playback.

It will ship from the fouth quarter of 2009 for EUR459(about $650).





HTC Tattoo

HTC has announced an Android-based phone, the HTC Tattoo, featuring a 2.8″ touch screen, 3.2 megapixel camera, 3.5mm stereo headset jack and microSD slot and which integrates Google maps, search, Google Mail services. It will be available in Europe first at the beginning of October.

Nokia 6600i slide

The 6600i Slide features a beautiful brushed steel shell hiding an upgraded 5 megapixel camera with dual LED flash, 3G so you can share your photos, and all the usual software goodies that come with a phone of this class.

Nokia may be all but dead on the high end but they still manage to produce some nice looking hardware for their low to mid range phones. For most people this is all they will need. Still not better than the new N97 though but check it out.

Today AT&T and Nokia today announced the Nokia Surge. It is a Symbian S60 base smartphone with a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard. It features include a 2.0 megapixel camera, AT&T Navigator, AT&T Mobile Music and AT&T Video Share and JuiceCaster. Available online and in AT&T stores on July 19 for $79.99 with a two-year service agreement after rebate.
